The Aquinas Literacy Center partners with individuals, local businesses, corporations and foundations to enable the adult learners to utilize their unique gifts through competency in English and to provide a legacy for the future. Through donations, the following achievements have been possible:

• Pablo comes to the Center to learn English so that he does not have to use a translator on the job.
• Luis has been studying here for the past five months and his young son looks forward to having Daddy read Garfield and other childrens books to him each week
• Angela's story is perhaps the most dramatic proof of the empowerment provided by English literacy. A neighbor, the victim of domestic violence, sought her help and together they reported the abuse to the police.
